7 Contoh Recount Text Holiday Terunik - Langsung saja kami jelaskan bahwa Recount Text adalah sebuah tulisan teks bahasa inggris yang menceritakan secara ulang kembali sebuah pengalaman "experience" atau kegiatan kita dimasa lampau. Kesamaan keduanya antara lain adalah sama-sama berbentuk tulisan naration dan juga sama-sama menceritakan kejadian masa lampau. Akan tetapi, ada perbedaan yang harus kita ketahui dari masing-masing keduanya. Kalau Recount Text hanya menceritakan kejadian masa lampau yang berkaitan dengan pengalaman experience yang sifatnya untuk menghibur, sedangkan Narative sendiri menceritakan kejadian masa lampau dengan pembahasan cerita yang sangat panjang dan cerita yang berkaitan dengan narative seperti dongeng, fabel, cerita rakyat, dan sebagainya.

Tujuan Recount Text

Setelah kita mengetahui yang dimaksud dengan Recount Text, maka selanjutnya kita juga harus mengetahui tujuan dari dibuatnya. Dan Recount Text bertujuan untuk memberikan sebuah informasi mengenai sebuah pengalaman "experience" atau kejadian terhadap para pembacanya agar para pembacanya dapat merasakan sebuah pengalaman yang dijelaskan dalam cerita teks tersebut sehingga pembaca menjadi terhibur setelah membaca cerita yang kita bacakan tersebut.

Ciri-ciri dari Recount Text 

Berikut ini adalah beberapa ciri-ciri yang dapat membantu Anda mengetahui bahwa jenis tulisan ini adalah sebuah Recount Text :

1. Menggunakan kalimat Past Tense, seperti We went to beach, I was happy, etc.

2. Menggunakan Adverbs dan Adverbial Phrase untuk menjelaskan latar tempat, waktu, dan cara.           Seperti at My school, Yesterday, Fastly, etc.

3. Menggunakan Time Connectives dan Conjunction untuk mengurutkan alur kejadian atau peristiwa.

    Seperti Then, And, But, After that, etc.

4. Menggunakan Action Verb bentuk ke-2 seperti Went, Bought, Slept, etc.

Struktur Umum dari Recount Text

Secara umum sebuah Recount Text memiliki bentuk struktur seperti berikut :

1. Orientation (Pengenalan)

    Memperkenalkan kepada pembaca mengenai latar belakang dari cerita tersebut mengenai siapa,           dimana, dan kapan peristiwa atau kejadiannya dimasa lampau.

2. Event (Kejadian)

    Menceritakan semua kejadian yang terjadi didalam cerita tersebut sesuai dega urutan                           kronologisnya.

3. Reorientation (Pengulangan Pengenalan)

    Pada bagian Reorientation ini terjadi pengulangan rangkuman pengenalan kembali seperti bagian       Orientation sebelumnya dan biasanya penulisnya akan memberikan komentar dan kesan terhadap       pengalaman kejadian yang mereka alami.

Fantastic Holiday at Yogyakarta Last week, I went to Yogyakarta with my family. My father drove the car. My mother sat beside him. My sister and I sat in the back seats. We woke up early in the morning. My father prepared the car in the garage while mother was preparing food for breakfast and some snacks for us. My sister and I packed some clothes. After everything got ready and we had our breakfast, we left the house at six o'clock. It was about nine A.M. We arrived at Yogyakarta. First of all we visited our uncle. We stayed there for an hour. Then we went to Parangtritis beach. We got there at eleven o'clock. There were a lot of tourists because it was holiday. I saw many foreign visitors too. My parents watched us playing with sand in the beach. We did not swim and take a bath since the wave was rough. After having lunch, we went on our picnic to the museum and Malioboro shopping centre. We drove back to Semarang at 7 o'clock and arrived home at ten. We were tired but happy.

My Vacation at Bali On holidays my family and I went to the island Bali. Using the plane, when arrived in Bali I and the family stayed at the Vira hotel for a rest. The next morning I visited Sanur beach to see the sunrise by walking distance. And in the afternoon we were to Kuta beach to see the sunset but this time not by walking distance but using so much faster a means of transportation. using a means of transportation  so much faster. After that we went back to the hotel to rest. The next day went to the market to buy some souvenirs.Then to Joger Bali to buy cheaper t-shirts.  Because it is too tired of shopping, we went back to the hotel. Journey is not over yet we continue the journey to the Tanjung Benoa there I played Parasailing, banana boat, jet sky, flying fish, rolling donut. Not far from there is the turtle island. To get there we need to up the boat or gatek.When arrived there I saw so much tortoise which there. And I also hold the tortoise. But apparently not as imagined so heavy his tortoise. After handling turtles I walked around the the area turns out there is also some birds, snakes, and other reptiles similar. And not half-hearted I was willing to hold it. And after that we went to a Tanah Lot. There is also of course there are the Sacred Serpent purified. Being in a cave sector in the inner corner of the beach at Tanah Lot. Visitting to Borobudur Temple Two years ago, I visited Borobudur Temple. I went there with my parent and my little sister. We went to Borobudur temple by car. I left my house at nine o’clock. It took us fourty five minutes to drive a car. I arrived there at a quarter to ten. Along the road, I saw many vehicles, houses, buildings, trees, and peoples. After we arrived at the Borobudur temple, my father went to park the car. My mother, my little sister and i went to buy tickets. After we waited my father we entered into Borobudur temple area's. Then we went up to the top of the temple. Borobudur temple was built at Budur Village, Magelang, Jawa Tengah by Dinasty Syailendra. Borobudur Temple is the biggest temple in the world. It has 504 statue and 1.400 relief.   From the top of the temple we can looked beautiful scenery. I played with my sister and bought drinks. Finally, we go back house. I felt tired but I felt so happy can visited Borobudur temple with my family. I hope the temple was cared for by all of the visitors and the government.

Visitting to the Zoo Yesterday my family went to the zoo to see the elephant. When we got to the zoo, we went to the shop to buy some food to give to the animals. After getting the food we went to the nocturnal house where we saw birds and reptiles which only come out at night. Before lunch we went for a ride on the elephant. It was a thrill to ride it. Dad nearly fell off when he let go of the rope. During lunch we fed some birds in the park. In the afternoon we saw the animals being fed. When we returned home we were tired but happy because we had so much fun.

A Trip at The Beach Last week my friend and I were bored after three weeks of holidays, so we rode our bikes to Smith Beach, which is only five kilometres from where I live.  When we arrived at the beach, we were surprised to see there was hardly anyone there.  After having a quick dip in the ocean, which was really cold, we realized one reason there were not many people there.  It was also quite windy. After we bought some hot chips at the takeaway store nearby, we rode our bikes down the beach for a while, on the hard, damp part of the sand.  We had the wind behind us and, before we knew it, we were many miles down the beach.  Before we made the long trip back, we decided to paddle our feet in the water for a while, and then sit down for a rest.  While we were sitting on the beach, just chatting, it suddenly dawned on us that all the way back, we would be riding into the strong wind. When we finally made it back home, we were both totally exhausted!  But we learned some good lessons that day.

Scary Experience I saw a horor film at Galaxy cinema last night. It was “Pulau Hantu” playing on. I read the poster on newspaper yesterday. It made me curious to see the film. I went to the cinema alone. I went there by a bicycle. I was 8.00 when I arrived there. There had been many people queuing up to get the tickets.  I came into the cinema soon after I got my ticket. I had my seat on the forefront. And at 8.30 the movie was played on.   After the movie was over, I left the cinema quickly. My watch showed 11.30 pm as I got on my bicycle. I pedaled hard on my bicycle and was soon speeding home. My thought went back to the movie I had just seen. It was a scary story. I could remember clearly a woman screaming as she was being attached by a ghost. Somehow that frightful scene stayed in my mind. And I could not forget it.   The road was dark and quiet. I had to pass a graveyard on the way home. As I approached the graveyard. I heard some sounds behind me. I was frightened and began to cycle faster. The sound came nearer and nearer. Then I heard a familiar voice calling me. I looked back and saw Suzana, my classmate. He had also seen the movie and was frightened too. She had cycled after me so that she would not be alone. Both of us laughed out loud over our behavior.  We went home together. We pedaled our bicycle calmly. We both went not scared any more.

I Lost My Wallet On Sunday, I went down town to do some shopping in one of the best shopping centers. It is called Vitun Maret.  I bought a lot of things; snacks, health product, and some clothes. I was very happy because that day everything was 20% off. I spent around 500 thousand rupiahs. After about an hour I was wondering in, I decided to leave and went to a restaurant nearby to have lunch. I ordered my lunch and for the desert. I had some ice cream. I enjoyed my meals and asked for the  check. Did you know what happened? I was so surprised when I tried to get my wallet in my backpack. I could not find it, it was stolen.  I felt so stupid and did not know what to do next. Fortunately, I still kept some in the pocket of my shirt. Using the payphone available there, I tried to call my parents at home. Fortunately they were at home and promised to come soon. No more than 20 minutes, they got in. then the check was paid. After that, we went home with some goods in my shopping bag. I was so relieved and promised to myself that I should be more careful in lots of ways.

Sunday, 14 June, 1942 On Friday, June 12th, I woke up at six o’clock and no wonder, it was my birthday. But of course I was not allowed to get up at that hour, so I had to control my curiosity until a quarter to seven. Then I could bear it no longer, and went to the dining room, where I received a warm welcome from Moortje (the cat). Soon after seven I went to Mummy and Daddy and then to the sitting room to undo my presents. The first to greet me was you, possibly the nicest of all. Then on the table there were a bunch of roses, a plant, and some peonies, and more arrived during the day. I got masses of things from Mummy and Daddy, and was thoroughly spoiled by various friends. Among other things I was given Camera Obscura, a party game, lots of sweets, chocolates, a puzzle, a brooch, Tales and Legends of the Netherlands by Joseph Cohen, Daisy’s Mountain Holiday (a terrific book) and some money. Now I can byThe Myths of Greece and Rome – grand! Then Lies called for me and we went to school. During recess I treated everyone to sweet biscuits, and then we had to go back to our lessons. Now I must stop. Bye-bye, we’re going to be great pals!
